A DestinationYou were the upgraded copy, the richer version, the easy distraction. I’d been consumed for hours over the alluded obsession, the favored stature that was a stranger to my tastes. I’d thought and I’d concluded, escapism or a plan, either to satisfy.

A plan set in motion, a destination. A train, another, a wait, and you. I came for the other, but found my eyes wondering. In that silver, those jeans, that voice. An escape and an excuse. Easy, no? The right moment, the right place, the right hour. The alcohol and the dress. Why not? I could have this version, this smile, this stature.

Why not indeed. A bad idea, a mistaken momen

ObsessionObsession. Its an easy thing to fall into, and an even harder hole to escape.

I liked you once. Quite a lot actually. Despite the fact that my best interests told me you were a bad idea. Your texture didn’t suit my tastes, your stature was nothing I ever thought I’d favor. And yet I fell after you happily, made a fool of myself mostly.

Its gone now. I found closure in a drunken night and a single bed. In spilled words of oppressed months, inappropriate affection and rejected touch. It was awkward, embarrassing, but satisfying. And then there was the exhibition and the appropriate obsession. And yet, I still like to think.

Stream of Consciousness IITrains and puce hills, rivers and bridges. Stations and waiting, vaulted arches and grey pink stone. Ticking of digital time. Excitement and nervousness, wine, vodka, kisses and bed.

Three days of rain and grey, but I didn’t notice.

Three weeks of waiting and working. Of wondering. There are no rules are you are not mine. Traditional values don’t apply where you run. Not there to be pinned down by anyone. Smile is too much, you have me, you had me. I’m easy to fall into traditional roles with such laughter.

Apart of my Photography GCSE - Portraiture.

Exploring the idea that the places I grew up in and live in make me who I am today.
My enviroment shapes my personality, my likes, my accent - everything.

Each image is taken in a part of the area in which I live in - Bradford.
I was born here and I grew up here. I'm even proud to be from here!

I think that's all.

Taken with a Image Polaroid camera. I used this camera becuase I love the
imperfections - it also suited the idea I was trying to achieve. Polaroids seems more
personal and real than most photographic forms.

Also, the imperfections kinda reflect that everyone of us has imperfections,
they are apart of our personality.

I forgot to ask, who took these gorgeous pictures ? Personally I was the only one who could handle my Polaroid camera, if my fiance took my photo, it would be only my left ear or the top of my head would turn out.

I love Polaroids. Sure, the filmpacks are dead expensive, but it made us caution more with the compositions.

Oh what the heck, spending the films are so fun !
